We have just returned from a 7 day tour with ˝Mysririlankatravel˝. Our guide and driver, Sugath Gamini, made our holiday special and memorable. His local knowledge and professionalism in putting together our tour was excellent. The first day we went on safari to Yala National Park. There we saw not one,but two sleeping leopards, wild elephants of course, plus an assortment of other wildlife.

We knew then that this tour was going to be special.

Over the next week we drove to the mountains where we saw spectacular waterfalls, went white water rafting and climbed Adams Peak (not for the fainthearted)!

We took a magical train journey through tea plantation country (not to be missed). We then went on more cultural visits to the ancient cities of Polonnaruwa, Dambulla and Sygiria. Heading back to Kandy we visited the amazing Botanic Gardens and the Temple of the Tooth. Sugath had organised the whole itinerary and chose all the excellent guest houses and hotels. Every evening we had delicious meals and he knew good lunchtime stops en route.

He is also a very safe driver, which is really important to know when deciding on booking a tour. After a week spent in Sugaths company we have no hesitation in recommending ˝Mysrilankatravel˝ as a repuptable tour operator.
