I booked my tour with SriLanka Travel via the internet, having no knowledge or experience with Sri Lanka and what it has to offer. However, once I told the agent via email what I wanted he replied immediately back with a detailed plan for my 4 days, including all the details and places that I would find interesting. Game remained in contact and answered all my questions and requests very promptly. I asked many questions and he was very polite and helpful in answering all my queries.
As a single female traveller I was a little apprehensive about travelling alone, but my guide met me at the airport and took great care of me. The tour was a huge success, visiting all the sites I wanted to see. I could arrange what time I should be collected each morning and my guide was there waiting for me on-time. It was such a hassle-free holiday, I loved the fact that someone else took control and arranged everything for me. He took me to local restaurants, shops, road-side coconut stalls for an early morning drink, he really showed me the authentic side of Sri Lanka.
I requested 4-5 star hotels and I was not disappointed, Gama made every effort in upgrading and making my stay as enjoyable as possible.
There was no request for payment until the very last day at the end of the tour. SriLanka Travel trusts it’s clients which is so nice to see these days. All the staff and guides were friendly, professional and courteous. I would 100% recommend them to any traveller.
