I booked a tour of 28 days with Mysrilankatravel in March 2015.
Having searched the internet I received several quotes from travel companies I found mysrilankatravel to be the most competitive.
I was a little concerned as the web site appears to show a small company.I was a little wary of sending money to a company I did not know. which was a mistake.
There are 7 vehicles in the fleet, cars and minibuses.This is a good company honest and providing an excellent service.
I was asked to send a small deposit via bank transfer and then paid for the trip in stages by taking out monies from the numerous cashpoints as the tour progressed.
This gave me peace of mind.
Sugath the owner sent an itinerary which I researched and then made my decisions. You can choose to tour for any length of time from 7…28 days. I chose to tour for 28 days as I had the time and wanted to spend more time at the beach resorts.Pigeon Island,Mirissima and Negumbo. Sugath will match the tour to your timescale and your wishes.
The cost of any tour will depend on the quality of hotels you choose. You can stay in the hotels Sugath suggests which will give you the cheapest tour.I
decided to upgrade and stayed in some excellent hotels. I used Trip Advisor looking at the better hotels in any area we travelled to and was not
disappointed. Sugath then took care of the bookings.
He will email you a reply to any queries I think I sent over 30 emails before my tour was finalised.
Sithum our driver met us at the airport with a name card and was excellent he made the tour so pleasant due to his personality being so friendly and helpful.
Although we had a tour plan we could change it as we wished. Towards the end he heard me say “no more temples” several times. I would strongly recommend this company for the cost of any tour and the helpfulness of everyone involved.Srilanka offers sunshine and beaches or the mountain scenery in the interior a lovely place to visit.
